LeBron James Ice Bucket Challenge Meme Template

This iconic sports meme originates from LeBron James' official 2014 ALS Ice Bucket Challenge video. Filmed on a yacht while shirtless, LeBron accepts the challenge from Brandon Weems, Kevin Durant, Kevin Hart, and DJ Steph Flawless, going on to nominate his sons (LeBron Jr. and Bryce Maximus) and President Barack Obama.

However, the moment a massive cooler full of freezing ice water is dumped over his head, the NBA superstar loses all composure, unleashing a hilariously high-pitched, echoing scream ("WOOOOOOO!") that sounds completely out of character for the 6'9" athlete. The internet instantly clipped the scream, turning it into a timeless viral reaction format for experiencing unexpected pain, extreme stress, sudden cold, or losing your cool in a split second.

Sudden shock, high-pitched panic, hilarious contrast, unexpected pain, and losing composure instantly.

• The Nomination: A shirtless LeBron James sits confidently in a chair, casually listing out his nominations including President Obama.
• The Splash: Two people behind him tip a massive white plastic container filled with ice and water over his head.
• The Scream: The freezing water hits his shoulders, and he lets out an absurdly high-pitched, hysterical scream as he jumps up from the chair.

The video displays a short, candid clip of NBA legend LeBron James sitting shirtless outdoors on the deck of a boat or yacht under direct sunlight. He speaks directly to the camera, accepting the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and listing his nominations. Behind him, two individuals hold a large white cooler filled with ice water. On cue, they dump the freezing water directly over LeBron's head and shoulders. As soon as the ice hits his skin, LeBron lets out an intensely high-pitched, echoing scream and jolts out of the wooden chair, completely overwhelmed by the freezing shock as the video abruptly cuts.
