Markiplier Deep-Throating Microphone Meme Template

This iconic, highly surreal YouTube Poop (YTP) edit originates from a clip of massive YouTube personality Markiplier (Mark Fischbach) answering an interview question about his favorite video games.

The internet transformed this totally normal interview setup into an unhinged masterpiece of frame-by-frame video editing and sound design. As Markiplier talks, a shotgun boom microphone repeatedly drops into frame, poking at his mouth. Instead of pushing it away, the video is edited to show Markiplier aggressively opening his mouth wide, swallowing the entire microphone, and making unsettling, reverberated eating sounds before resuming his interview as if nothing happened. The sheer absurdity and seamless editing made this a legendary shitpost template across TikTok, YouTube, and Twitter.

Surreal editing, unhinged shitposting, YouTube Poop energy, unsettling audio cuts, and bizarre deadpan delivery.

• The Normal Interview: Markiplier sits casually in a purple t-shirt discussing what his favorite video game is.
• The Microphone Intrusion: A heavy RØDE boom mic drops aggressively into his face and mouth area.
• The Swallow: Through chaotic frame manipulation and glitchy echo effects, he appears to swallow the entire microphone head whole before staring wide-eyed into the distance.

The video displays a short, surreal YouTube Poop-style edit featuring popular gaming creator Markiplier. He is seated in an armchair in front of a brick wall, wearing a bright purple t-shirt, answering a casual question about his favorite video games. During his response, a large black RØDE boom microphone drops down from above, repeatedly poking his mouth. The video uses heavy visual warping, frame-stuttering, and echo-laden audio effects to show Markiplier opening his mouth unnaturally wide, engulfing the microphone head completely, and making bizarre chewing sounds before returning to his calm interview posture.
