Omni-Man Tongue Out Behind Mark Meme Template
About this meme
This viral edit is an unhinged parody based on the animated superhero series Invincible.
In the show's intense scenes, Omni-Man (Nolan Grayson) often looms menacingly over his son Mark Grayson (Invincible). Fan creators and digital artists edited Omni-Man's terrifying, stern expression into a completely absurd, wide-eyed, tongue-wagging "freaky" derp face while creeping directly behind an unsuspecting, horrified Mark.
The cursed edit rapidly blew up across Reddit (r/Invincible, r/memes, r/dankmemes, r/me_irl, r/shitposting), Twitter/X, TikTok, Instagram, and Discord. It serves as an iconic reaction format for an unhinged friend creeping up on you, chaotic energy lurking right behind someone having a serious moment, unexpected panic, or someone getting "freaky" when you least expect it.
Cursed menace, derpy predator, unhinged lurking, sudden dread, and peak chaotic humor.
- Foreground (Mark Grayson / Invincible): A close-up profile of a shirtless, distressed Mark looking forward with wide, fearful green eyes, clenched teeth, and visible sweat/concern lines.
- Background (Omni-Man Edit): Nolan Grayson popping up directly over Mark's shoulder, sporting a hilarious cartoonish wide-eyed grin, thick mustache, arched eyebrows, and a large red tongue sticking straight out.
- Clean modern superhero animation style contrasting sharply with the goofy, surreal edit of Omni-Man's face.
The image displays a humorous fan-edited screenshot parodying the animated series Invincible. In the foreground on the right, Mark Grayson is shown in a tight close-up, visibly shaken with wide, frightened eyes and gritted teeth. Emerging directly behind his bare shoulder on the left, Omni-Man is edited with a ridiculously maniacal, cheerful expression—wide open eyes, high arched brows, and his tongue playfully lolling out of a grinning mouth, creating a jarring, hilarious contrast of terror and silliness.
