Smiling Friends Boss & Side Characters Meme Template

This incredible fan art piece, created by artist @nso_cartoons, pays homage to Adult Swim's hit animated series Smiling Friends (created by Zach Hadel and Michael Cusack).

The artwork gathers an absurd collection of iconic, weird, and unhinged side characters/villains from the show—such as Mr. Frog, Gwimbly, the Frowning Friends (Grim and Gnarly), the Renaissance Men, Mip, and Glep in a witch hat—all looming menacingly over Mr. Boss, who grimaces while holding a tiny, squeaking Pim doll in his hand. The art blew up across X (Twitter), Reddit, and Instagram within the Smiling Friends fandom as an elite appreciation post for the show's chaotic universe.

Unanimous chaos, absurd character designs, sinister looming energy, unhinged Adult Swim humor, and pure fandom appreciation.

The image displays a vibrant, highly detailed fan art poster featuring characters from the animated series Smiling Friends against a solid black background. In the foreground, Mr. Boss wears a dark purple suit jacket with a yellow bow tie, wincing with tightly closed eyes and a wrinkled, stressed facial expression as he holds a tiny purple figure in his hand. Looming directly behind him is a chaotic sea of colorful, menacing side characters and monsters—including a massive green roaring monster with visible teeth, a pink character holding a clump of pink cotton candy, a yellow creature with a blue bow tie, an orange figure with wide bloodshot eyes, a red character, and various other grotesque, uniquely styled cartoon figures. In the bottom right corner, white text reads "@nso_cartoons".
