About this meme
This iconic viral photograph features a massive African Bullfrog (Pyxicephalus adspersus) being held by its owner, holding a strikingly humanlike pose with its front limbs folded neatly across its chest.
The frog's smug, calm expression paired with its broad stance and folded arms immediately earned it a legendary status across Reddit (r/photoshopbattles, r/memes), X (Twitter), Instagram, and Tumblr. It quickly became the ultimate format for representing a patient boss waiting for an explanation, an all-knowing mob boss granting a favor, or feeling absolutely unbothered while waiting for someone to finish talking.
Mafia boss authority, quiet wisdom, patient judgment, smug satisfaction, and absolute dominance.
